By registering, the attendees to the Conference and/or Gala Dinner agree to the following Terms and Conditions

1. Cancellations of registrations to the Conference and/or Gala Dinner are not refundable.
2. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person. Details of transfers/substitutes must be notified by email (info@maltadementiasociety.org.mt) to the event organisers no later than the 15th of August 2024. Transfer of tickets will only be permitted on one occasion.
3. Should the conference be cancelled due to public health measures/natural disaster/calamities, all monies for registration will be refunded.
4. Please note that the event organisers reserve the right to change the speakers and timings.
5. The organisers may take both still and videography during the conference and gala dinner and use these for promotional purposes. Should you wish for your photo to not be used, you can contact the organising team on info@maltadementiasociety.org.mt
6. Attendees are permitted to use hand-held cameras and/or smart phones to take photographs and capture digital images for personal, non-commercial use, provided the photography is not disruptive. Photographs may not be published, sold, reproduced, transmitted, distributed, or otherwise commercially exploited in any manner whatsoever.
7. The Malta Dementia Society will be using your personal data only for the purpose of best facilitating your involvement in the Conference and/or Gala Dinner according to the local Data Protection legislation. Your data will be kept confidential and not shared with any third parties and will only be used to communicate information about these events and any future events hosted by the Malta Dementia Society, that may be of interest to you. Should you wish to unsubscribe at any point this will be actioned with immediate effect.
8. The Malta Dementia Society does not tolerate harassment of conference speakers, participants, or staff in any form, including through online social media. The Society reserves the right to withdraw any delegate registration at any time, should it consider that the individual has breached the expected conduct.
9. Delegates are personally responsible for their belongings at the venue. The Malta Dementia Society or any of its partners will not be held responsible for any stolen or missing items belonging to delegates, speakers, or attendees, due to any reason whatsoever.
10. Press permission must be obtained from the Malta Dementia Society prior to the event. The press will not quote speakers or delegates unless they have obtained their approval in writing and that of the Malta Dementia Society.
